Providing Solutions for Tubular & Roll Form Producers
1965 Walter and his two sons, Ronald and Gerald, partnered to form Addison Machine Engineering. As a general machine shop, Addison Machine produced parts for many industries while still focusing on tube mill tooling and regrind services out of their Addison, Illinois plant.
Walter instilled in his sons the values of uncompromising quality, knowledgeable service, and superior performance.
1972Ron Brunken designed Addison's first tube mill for their new tube-producing sister company formed by Gerald Brunken Sr.
Having worked his entire life as a supplier to the tube and pipe industry, Ron understood what producers wanted - solid and reliable mills. He started sketching out a mill that tube producers needed.
His goal: design and build the best mills in the business.
1977 Addison's growth necessitated a second facility, and the Reedsburg, Wisconsin, plant was opened.
Ron Brunken was chosen to head up that operation, poising the company for an exciting new direction.
2008 Addison merged both locations into the Reedsburg, WI facility for a more streamlined operation.
2024 Addison expands with a second facility located across town in Reedsburg, WI. Increasing capacity, this building allows for assembly, tube mill trial runs, and much more.
